Alert: Work
on House Number Twelve will begin in the Spring 2008! We will be
working every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. until the house
is completed. Come volunteer on this latest project by contacting
our Volunteer Coordinator, Maureen Hungerford, at (585)798-5414.
There are many
opportunities to get involved on a volunteer basis with Orleans Habitat
for Humanity, Inc. including:
- Scheduling
- Telephoning
- Record keeping
- Building site labor and supervision*
- Fund raising events and activities
- Various professional skills
- Providing or serving lunch to build site laborers
- Photography
* We always need experienced construction people to help lead
our volunteers. If you are a retired builder, electrician, plumber
or any other construction tradesperson, please call us! We do need
your help.
